Greencorps Chicago is the City of Chicago’s green industry job training program that provides a nine-month paid training, credentialing, and hands-on learning experience for individuals with barriers to employment.
Greencorps Chicago's mission is to empower residents from Chicagoland's underserved neighborhoods to create change in their lives and communities through training, service, and career opportunities in environmental fields.
Greencorps’ project-based model accomplishes daily technical skills and job readiness training while also developing and implementing meaningful projects that support regional sustainability and resiliency initiatives.

Social & Supportive Services
Greencorps Chicago provides case management and wraparound supportive services to help its participants address and overcome personal and professional barriers. These supports ensure participants are prepared for post-program employment opprtunities.
